Our lives are a mixture of different roles. Most of us are doing the best we can to find whatever the right balance is . . . Self care is, fundamentally about restoring balance to life.
I am blessed to assist our clients on their journey towards their optimal self.
I have been working as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Unit at Royal Columbian Hospital for over 3 years. Working at such a busy, demanding, and fast-paced unit on top of nursing several personal injuries stemming from the job has really shown me the importance of prioritizing my health and well-being first. This is what I hope to teach our clients at Thrive: put yourself first.
While I am still working at RCH part-time, I am ecstatic to be a part of the family at Thrive and be able to use my skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve a better sense of wellness.
New Client Specialist
My job here at Thrive is to ensure our clients receive the best that we have to offer. I feel that results and comfort are the most important.
Academics are and have been the most meaningful in my life. I have my BSc in Psychology with a focus in Cognitive Neuroscience from UVic and the next steps in my career are obtaining a Nursing degree, hopefully followed by medical school!
I have been a professor at Kwantlen University with the nursing department for many years and just recently have had the fabulous opportunity to assist in the implementation of the IV Vitamin Therapy Lounge at Thrive.
Learning and teaching is how I fulfill my passion and support my students and clients in navigating their healthy lifestyle.
